After completing my Master degrees in Exercise Physiology, I spent 10 years working at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in clinical research. My research emphasis involved therapeutic rehabilitative devices for spinal cords injury and stroke patients. However, I was overcome by my longing to treat animals.
Using my veterinary medical degree and my clinical experience in human medicine, I am in position to facilitate physical medicine and rehabilitation to animal patients.
Upon graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine at the age of 52, I embarked upon the field of animal rehabilitation with special interest in aquatic therapy for horses and dogs.
